AMPOS Orthopaedics is a Canadian facility that has been serving the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada area since 1960. We provide services for patients in need of prosthetic and orthotic devices that are prescribed by a physician.

Our team of Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists, technicians and office staff has over 100 years of combined experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. We provide prosthetic devices for upper and lower extremities, and we have your orthotic needs covered from head to toe (literally).

Christopher Kraft, CPO(c)

Owner/Manager, Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist

Chris is a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO(c)) and the owner/manager of AMPOS Orthopaedics, a family business that was established by his father in Ottawa in 1960. Chris graduated from the Orthotics/Prosthetics Technical program in 1986 and from the Clinical Methods in Orthotics/Prosthetics program in 1991. He achieved his technical registration in orthotics and prosthetics, and later became certified in orthotics in 1996 and then in prosthetics in 1999. He has worked across Canada and internationally in the prosthetics and orthotics field and offers a wide breadth of experience and knowledge. Outside of work, Chris achieved a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University (2001) and has been a member of the local service organization (Rotary Club) since 1994. In his spare time, Chris enjoys all outdoor activities, including biking, skiing, and hiking.

Evelyn Stocki, CP(c)

Head of Prosthetics Department, Certified Prosthetist

Evelyn is a Certified Prosthetist (CP(c)) and head of the Prosthetics Department at AMPOS. She joined the company in 2001. Evelyn graduated from the Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics program from BCIT and attained her certification in prosthetics in 1999. She has worked at several facilities across Canada working with all age groups. Her hobbies outside of work include singing, reading, and cheering on the Ottawa Redblacks.

Adrian Schellenberg

Technical Manager, Certified Orthotic Fitter

Certified Orthotic Fitter

Adrian is the Technical Manager at AMPOS. He started his technical career in 1992 and joined AMPOS in 2001. He completed his Certified Orthotic Fitter Course in 2004. Adrian enjoys providing a high quality product with colour and unique designs. Innovation is one of his stronger assets. He enjoys carpentry and is an avid fisherman.

Sasha

Office Manager, Certified Orthotic Fitter

Certified Orthotic Fitter

Sasha is the Office Manager at AMPOS Orthopaedics and she is a Certified Orthotic Fitter specializing in mastectomy prostheses and supplies. She joined the company in 1979 and has worked in many capacities throughout the business and is now a central figure at AMPOS. Her interests lie in animal rescue and she cares for a number of cat colonies around Ottawa.
